If I would describe the cafe in one word, it would be “homey”. Because the atmosphere of the cafe is really comfortable! And there are some wooden tables and chairs in the cafe, so the whole cafe is filled with an amber color. In addition, some red cans of coffee beans are displayed on the shelves of the counter. It’s a lovely accent of the cafe! Even if this is your first time to visit at the cafe, you might be soothing to feel at home. Maybe it’s got something to do with the mom-and-pop vibe at the cafe. They are both elderly, but their smiling faces are so beautiful that it makes us feel like friends.

If you visit the cafe, make sure to order at least a cup of coffee. The cafe has many types of coffee from different regions. The coffee is brewed on a siphon, it’s so hot and served speedy.
Of course, there are some drinks apart from coffee. For example, tea, soda float, juice and stuff like that. So you would enjoy relaxing time at the cafe if you don’t like coffee.
Recommendation
My recommendation is a cheese and pepper toast. It has a melted cheese and black pepper on the toast. It’s a simple toast, but this toast really brings out the full flavor of the ingredients. Once you take a bite, you will feel the deliciousness in your mouth.
Moreover, you’re able to eat a yogurt if you visit the cafe in the morning. Yogurt with jam on top is a refreshing after a meal.
How to Get There
If you are going to the cafe, you should get off the train at Kitasenju station. After going out the west exit, you walk for about five minutes. After that, when you walk the street “Senju-honcho Shopping District”, you would find a cute exterior. The exterior has a wall of green color and a tent of red color. It looks like straight out of a fairy tale. You will love the cafe!
