Cafes

[Permanently closed][Cafe] Tsuta coffee/ Omotesando / Would you like to drink coffee while looking at a beautiful garden?

There are many people at Omotesando near Shibuya.

If you go there, you might be tired because it’s crowded. You also might want to see green.

In that case you should go to a cafe called “Tsuta Coffee” in Omotesando.

You might be able to forget the hustle and bustle of the big city if you go to the cafe.

The beautiful garden jumps into your eyes when you enter

tsutacoffee_exterior

“Tsuta Coffee” that has opened since 1988 is located near the Omotesando station.

“Tsuta” means ivy.

The cafe’s exterior is covered by ivy exactly the same as the cafe’s name.

You might pass by the cafe if you don’t know there is a cafe there.

When you enter, the beautiful garden jumps into your eyes.

Right side of the whole wall of the cafe is a window, so you will be able to look at the garden well. The garden is kept very well, so it’s worth it to see.

On the other hand, there are counter seats leading to the back of the cafe.

Most of those are dim, so it’s perfect for you to spend a good time reading a book.

And you can see a cafe’s owner who is brewing coffee on the flannel drip.

Many delicious foods shining in the sunlight

If you go to the cafe, you should order coffee.

The coffee is roasted in the inside of the cafe and brewed with flannel drip.

Furthermore the cafe uses a coffee cup “Okuratouen”.

It’s one of famous Japanese tableware brands. These cups have a clear white color, blue flower pattern and golden border.

When coffee is poured with the cup, the beauty of the cup is accentuated.

“Tsuta Coffee” don’t have single origin coffee such as Brazil and Guatemala.

You can choose without hesitation even if you don’t know about coffee well. You will have a great time while drinking tasty coffee.

Croque monsieur with a heaping salad is also recommended

My recommendation is “Croque monsieur”.

Look at this photo.

You might be surprised you have never seen this menu’s looks.

A heaping salad is very characteristic of the cafe’s croque monsieur. There are green salads and a lot of watercress!

When I was a child, I often used to eat watercress that I harvested myself near the rice field. So I feel nostalgic when I see a watercress.

Of course, croque monsieur is delicious! This menu is put the cheese and bacon between two slices of bread, so it’s the right amount for you to eat lunch.

Besides these characteristics, there are four pieces of oranges and “Yakult”.

Do you know “Yakult”? It’s the most famous probiotic drink in Japan.

You can eat enough vegetables, delicious croque monsieur, oranges and yakult.

You might feel happy because it’s so delicious and full!
