Intro
This article is a guide to “Jeunesse” cafe in Tobe, Kanagawa. It’s located close to Tobe station. The cafe is a retro and a charming cafe, so whenever you will spend a relaxing time. It’s a perfect place to meet up with someone. I’m sure you’ll like the cafe!
Interior Design
In this cafe, there are some table seats and counter seats, but it’s not big specious. The seats in the center of the cafe are separated by an antique partition, creating a cool atmosphere. Also, I think the window seat is a special seat because it can be overlooking the whole cafe.
There are some Japanese magazines and comics near the entrance of the cafe. So you will have a relaxing time while reading them. The cafe’s staff is welcoming and friendly. So I think I understand why the cafe is loved by a lot of customers!

Speciality
If you visit the cafe, you should order “Cream Anmitsu”. It’s kind of Japanese traditional sweet that has a diced agar topped with red bean paste and ice cream. I was very impressed by the richness of the whipped cream on the cream anmitsu! Moreover, the ice cream is also riches, so it’s a good combination with red bean paste!
The high quality of the cafe can be seen in even one of these sweets! You might easily order a cake, but please order “Cream Animitsu” when you visit the cafe.
Recommendation
The coffee is also my recommendation. The cafe’s owner is brewed coffee with a siphon. It’s hot and fragrant coffee!
Of course, there are also tea, juices and other drinks, so even if you don’t like coffee, you can easily visit there.
How to Get There
If you are going to the cafe, you should get off the train at the Tobe station of Keikyu Line. After going out the exit, you would see the cafe on right side soon. You can see the cafe easily, so no need to worry about getting lost.
The brick-enclosed window frames look great against the white walls. Your expectations will be high even before you enter the cafe!
